How to Impress a Boy – Be Yourself

There’s one thing very common in teenage. It is that we ‘pretend’. I don’t really have any answer to why we pretend, but I very well know that we all pretend in teenage, especially girls.

I am sorry to say that this is one thing that is so not good for you. Yes, I mean every single ward I said.

See, the only reason that I could have been able to figure out as the possible reason for pretending is the desire to look or sound better. There are some teenagers who try to pretend like the elder sibling, actors, some friend (who they believe have better attitude), or anyone else for that matter.

Girls (not all, yet many) do this most of the times. Perhaps they believe this is how to impress a boy.

There’s no way people will appreciate you, if you keep pretending to be like someone else. I don’t want to discourage you, but that is nothing else but the truth. Reason behind this, is that you can never be perfect being someone else. No matter what you do, you will also be you.

Most of the times when any girl at high school or college, pretends (actually copies) anyone, then she rather than being liked by others, is uncared. Yu can never get the love of your life being someone else. Actually I don’t really believe that you’d like to be liked by someone important for you, being someone else.

Okay, let’s deal it the other way. For a moment, forget about how to impress a boy and other reason why you have been pretending. Just assume you got what you were pretending for. What next? For how long can you keep the mask?

Did you say ‘forever’? Huh! That is not a child’s play. Sooner or later you will have to come in your original form. What then? You’ll lose all what you’ve earned by being someone else!

So what to do? Well, if you ask me how to impress a boy, I’d say be who you are!

That’s the best thing any boy will look for. See, boys have a little complicated brain structure (not really). They want things to be the best, yet simple. These same goes with their relationships. No matter how beautiful/intelligent the girl is, they’d want her o be simple.

This is the reason why most of the boys don’t like girls who pretend. They want someone who can be real. No masks, you know! That’s how it goes.

So, stop running from who you are. Accept yourself! Rather than doing anything else, start noticing the good things in yourself, this will buy you confidence and you will soon notice that you too are super cool. That is something which will redefine your life and get you all what you want from life.

Start believing in yourself! If you will start liking yourself, then I am you won’t have to be bothered about how to impress a boy.
